The Unwind Machine

The Unwind Machine is a 108-inch diameter geodesic steel dome featuring a patent-pending attachment suspended from the top. Users can perform rotations by hanging from the bar with their hands or inverting with gravity boots (not included). We recommend TEETER Hang Ups for reliable gravity boots, though we are not affiliated with them.

 

Specifications:

• Attachment Capacity: 900 lbs (e.g., a 250-lb user can use this safely).
• Assembly: Includes bolts, nuts, an instruction chart, and an assembly video. Assembly requires two 9/16-inch socket wrenches, with an impact driver recommended for efficiency.

 

Shipping & Returns:

• Machines are built to order and ship via DHL on pallets, with free shipping included.
• The dome and attachment are shipped separately; signature required for delivery.
• Sales tax applies, and no returns or exchanges are accepted.

 

Optional Features:

We are developing a motorized spinning system with a steering wheel for hands-free inversion, sold separately upon release. Until then, users can place weighted items (e.g., a plyometric box or kettlebells) on the floor for spinning.

This machine is suited for intermediate to advanced users with strong core strength. Users with medical conditions (e.g., high blood pressure, heart issues, or back problems) should consult a physician before use. Always perform the modality under supervision to ensure safety when inverting.

Unwind Machine – Contraindications & Safety Guidelines

 

 

Absolute Contraindications

Do not use the Unwind Machine if the user has any of the following conditions:

 

●     Spinal instability or fracture (acute or healing).

 

●     Severe osteoporosis or advanced bone fragility.

 

●     Recent spinal surgery (fusion, laminectomy, disc replacement, etc.).

 

●     Unstable disc herniation or acute disc rupture.

 

●     Severe cardiovascular disease (uncontrolled hypertension, aneurysm, advanced heart failure).

 

●     Severe glaucoma, retinal detachment, or recent eye surgery.

 

● Intracranial hypertension or known aneurysm.

 

● Uncontrolled vertigo, inner ear disorders, or severe balance dysfunction.

 

●     Active deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or pulmonary embolism history.

 

●     Pregnancy (especially 2nd and 3rd trimester).

 

●     Active infection, tumor, or cancer in the spine or brain.

 

●     Severe obesity beyond machine’s rated capacity (exceeding weight limit).

 

● Open wounds, unhealed fractures, or recent traumatic injury.

 

● Active seizure disorder uncontrolled by medication.

 

Relative Contraindications / Use with Caution

Consult a licensed healthcare provider before use if the user has:

 

●     Mild to moderate osteopenia.

 

●     Controlled hypertension or cardiovascular issues.

 

●     Diabetes with peripheral neuropathy or impaired healing.

 

●     Chronic migraines or history of vestibular issues.

 

● Mild scoliosis or kyphosis.

 

● Joint hypermobility syndromes (e.g., Ehlers–Danlos).

 

●     Chronic inflammatory diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis).

 

●     Metal implants, rods, or hardware in spine or hips.

 

●     Post-surgical recovery (clearance required after healing phase).

 

●     Chronic pain syndromes (fibromyalgia, CRPS) where overstimulation may worsen symptoms.

 

 Precautions During Use

● Always inspect the device before use (bolts, straps, bearings, weight limits).

 

● Never operate without supervision during first sessions.

 

● Users must remove jewelry, belts, loose items, and secure long hair.

 

● Limit initial sessions to 2–3 minutes to assess tolerance.

 

● Increase duration/intensity gradually under supervision.

 

●     Stop immediately if user experiences:

 

○ Sharp or radiating pain

 

○ Dizziness, faintness, or loss of consciousness

 

○ Nausea or vomiting

 

○ Visual disturbances

 

○ Severe anxiety or panic response
